On another note, Mr & Mrs Shepherd have generously acquired an Immigration Lawyer for us, and we will be meeting likely sometime next week to get started on establishing Katy's status here in Canada. Wish us luck!

Hiya! After a lovely Easter weekend, wedding negotiations began... and after many discussions between the North, South, and Us ... we are getting VERY close to setting a place and date!! Carol (Katy's mother) suggested Graydon Hall Manor ... and it looks fabulous!! We decided that a small, intimate, evening wedding is in store. We are still hoping for an outside garden setting, but we may be indoors (still, a GORGEOUS place either way). And the BEST news is Graydon Hall Manner is available for some dates in September! Katy and I spent yesterday scouting for possible Ceremony locations. We'd both like to have an outdoor ceremony, so we decided to scout out some of the nearby parks. We'll be calling around to these places on Monday to see if any are actually available.
